Ideal for treating cholesterol deposits, Thermocoagulation is a cosmetic procedure using a tiny pinpoint probe, applied precisely to the area, causing the lesion to dehydrate, exfoliate, and slough off. Thermocoagulation is not a laser but uses high frequency energy, so only a slight heat sensation is felt. Safe for delicate areas around the eye and will effectively remove lesions with absolute minimal or no scarring. An additional fee is applied to an excessive amount of cholesterol deposits , large or raised lesions.
